The members of Cambridge Chinese Dance Ensemble are a diverse group, ranging from professionals such as researchers, doctors and nurses to full-time mothers. Outside of work, we come together to learn Chinese dance, using it as a way to stay active and enrich our lives. Under the professional guidance of our dance teachers, our members have made significant strides not only in mastering basic dance skills but also in their ability to express and convey stories to audiences through dance. Our group and solo performances have earned gold medals at the International Peach and Plum Cup Dance Competition. The dance team is regularly invited to perform at large-scale events in Cambridge, London, and other cities across the UK. Our members have proudly participated in events like the Edinburgh Fringe.
