How You Can Support the Cambridge Folk Festival at Home
When the Covid-19 pandemic erupted in March, live events were cancelled up and down the country and many of our artists lost their livelihoods overnight. We know you love music as much as we do, and that is why we have decided to raise funds to support the people who make music.
We are asking Folk Festival fans to support this year’s Folk Festival at Home with a generous donation. Funds raised will be split between this year’s artists and the charity Help Musicians UK, which supports musicians in need all over the industry. What's more, every single person who donates £10 or more will be entered to win two full weekend tickets to the 2021 Festival, complete with guest bar access.*
Thanks to our sponsors, The Cambridge Folk Festival at home is free. But if you are able, please help us to cushion the blow of Covid-19 for artists so we can see them perform live again in the future. The charity Help Musicians UK supports musicians up and down the country who are facing a very uncertain future.
Together, we believe we can raise £20,000 which would have an incredible impact on the lives of our cherished musicians.
How money raised will be used: After covering certain costs for the Festival, which have been kept to a minimum, funds will be shared with 75% divided between this year's artists and 25% going to charity Help Musicians UK.
Our artists can't wait to perform you again at Cherry Hinton Hall, once we can all meet again safely.
