Participate in one of the Cambridge City Council events on 23 July or 31 August to have your say about how local government is currently organised in Cambridge and whether it can be improved.

You can also take part by completing the Cambridge City Council survey between 8 July and 3 September.

At the events there will be a presentation from Cllr Mike Davey (Leader, Cambridge City Council) and Robert Pollock (Chief Executive, Cambridge City Council) followed by an opportunity for you to discuss local government arrangements for Cambridge.

Event background

In October 2023, city councillors passed a motion calling on the council to consider whether the current arrangements are the most appropriate form of governance for Cambridge.

We would like residents, businesses, and local communities to tell us their views about the current structure of local government for Cambridge:

  • do you support the current arrangements?
  • how well are they working?
  • do you think they can be improved?

No specific proposals for local government reorganisation are being put forward as part of this engagement exercise.

Your feedback will help inform whether any changes to current arrangements should be explored in more detail.

If you would like to book via phone 01223 357851 Monday-Friday: 10am – 5pm
