Q. What can I bring?
A. Please DO NOT bring firework, sparklers, chinese lanterns, flares or drones to the event. These items are strictly prohibited in such a busy environment. Leave them at home and come to enjoy our display!
You're welcome to bring food and drink, however why not try one of our selection of catering units on the night?! Please do not bring alcohol or glass on-site for safety purposes. This is a family friendly event.
You are welcome to bring dogs or assistance animals on-site, please be aware of the animal at all times and it's welfare. The common can be busy with lots of people, so might be wise to stick to the outside.

Q. How much are tickets?
A. The event is completely free to attend, however, in order to keep the event free we would appreciate donations or entries to our raffle.

Q. Will there be Food and Drink available on the night?
A. We have some amazing catering units on the night offering a wide variety of food. Hot & Cold food and drinks available from 6pm, the catering units are situated on Midsummer Common near the footpaths by Fort St George Pub and Four Lamps Roundabout.

Q. What time do the fireworks start?
A. The display will begin at 7pm so please ensure you are comfortable and ready for the performance with plenty of time in hand. Why not catch Spark! or Josh Lovatt DJing before the display from 6pm onwards?

Q. What can I do before or after the event in Cambridge?
A. There two outdoor performances to enjoy before the display. Spark! the mesmerising street theatre show, combining high impact drumming with kaleidoscopic colour lighting from 6pm - 6.45pm. Also, Star Radio's Josh Lovatt will be DJing before the fireworks from 6pm-6:55pm.
Why not also check out Visit Cambridge's website and see what is on offer in Cambridge

Q. How noisy are the fireworks?
A. As with most displays, ours can be noisy and include bangs, pops and crackles... It is the same level of sound as a thunderstorm.
We advise using ear plugs or ear defenders if you'd like to watch the fireworks on-site with less of the noise. Ear plugs are avaiable at HQ.

Q. Concerned about your pets or someone who suffers from hearing such noises?
A. We provide a large free display each year to minimise the number of sporadic back garden displays at various times and on various days across the period across the city.
We inform 1,900 local residents and businesses surrounding the park in advance.
We adverties the event date and time clearly throughout the city.
We would like to advise you check out Classical FM's partnership with the RSPCAThe firework display is intense, but kept to shorter duration to support.
