Who are you and what do you do at Big Weekend?
We are the Alliance Francaise Cambridge! We have a marquee near the French Market and we provide French, English bands, a Franco Spanish musician and bands from around the world.

What is your occupation outside of Big Weekend?
We are an Education charity organisation and we encourage and develop knowledge of the French language and of French and Francophone cultures, and to promote cultural and educational exchanges between France and the rest of the world

How has that changed due to Covid-19?
We closed our premises at 60 Hills Road, Cambridge but we transfered all of our cultural activities online including our classes!

How has your life changed due to the current situation? For good and for bad?
A stronger team. What is bad for us is not to be able to see the general public coming to our office and be able to have small chat with our students, members, friend, colleagues.

What do you look forward to the most after this?
Seeing all you amazing people, watching a good French movie and listening to some good music

What is your favourite moment or memory from Big Weekend?
The 2014 Tour de France Big Weekend was a personal favourite and achievement for us as we really got to interact with such an amazing crowd!

How much are you looking forward to Big Weekend 2021?
Its the biggest event in Cambridge ! It doesn't get much better than that!
