17 November is World Prematurity Day. Across the world, buildings are being lit up purple to raise awareness and focus everyone’s attention on the global problem of premature birth, new-born health and survival.
Addenbrookes Hospital are leading the campaign in Cambridge by lighting up part of the Rosie Hospital, Pulsar Lighting will be illuminating their own offices and two local schools are also taking part.
With support from the e-Luminate Cambridge team, Cambridge Corn Exchange has been lit up purple to raise awareness for this very important cause.
