Join us on November 5th on historic Midsummer Common for this year's Fireworks Night, organised by Cambridge City Council. The event is one of the city’s longest running and best-loved traditions, drawing thousands to watch as the night sky is transformed into a stunning kaleidoscope of colour and light.

Fireworks display: 7:00pm
Spark!: 6:00pm - 6:45pm and 7:20pm - 8:00pm

Music from Funk & Soul DJ Chris Brown - 7:20pm-8:30pm
With the event taking place on the traditional date of November 5th itself, a truly stunning display will mark the occasion! Creating it is multi award-winning Pains Fireworks. Established in 1862 they are the oldest fireworks display company in the UK.
As a free event, Fireworks Night is a key city council event creating a valuable opportunity for thousands of people from different communities to get together.
People can look forward to an array of food trucks serving delicious street food, plus - a spectacular new attraction for this year - two incredible outdoor performances by Spark! the mesmerising street theatre show, combining high impact drumming with kaleidoscopic colour lighting: the first is at 6.00 - 6.45pm and the second at 7.20pm, straight after the fireworks.
Large numbers of people are anticipated, so please allow plenty of time for your journey, arrive early and wherever possible walk, cycle, or use public transport.
Additional Park & Ride services will be available for the evening. The display begins at 7pm, we advise arriving to site by 6:30pm to ensure you have a good spot.
Please DO NOT bring firework, sparklers, chinese lanterns, flares or drones to the event. These items are strictly prohibited in such a busy environment.
